Video Archive Verifier

Video Archive Verifier is Kerry Stratford's personal tool for checking a family video archive across Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive. It compares file information and checksums, records progress, and identifies files that need further review. It is not a consulting-business service or a public file-sharing service.

What it accesses

The planned Google Drive connection requests only drive.metadata.readonly. It reads file names, identifiers, sizes, available checksums, modification information, and account identity. The permission can read metadata across the connected account; it is not limited to selected folders. It does not permit downloading Google Drive file contents or changing or deleting Drive files.

Separately authorized Microsoft OneDrive connections can read video contents to calculate comparison hashes.

The workflow is being prepared, and the new Google connection is not active. This information website does not provide archive files or public registration. Verification results are not a guarantee that every file is complete or safe to delete.
